Fulham to Millwall

After the #Fulham2BirminghamWalk we decided to concentrate on walking to Fulham away games in London for this season, teaming up with opposition fans for match day fixtures.

Fulham drew Millwall away in the Carabao Cup (League cup). It was a given we would do this walk. As ever Val was up for the walk, Owen and Adam signed up too, and Andy a Spurs fan from Colchester joined us at Craven Cottage for a 4pm walk across London to The New Den.

We set off and walked down the riverside all the way to Vauxhall. The sun was out, the weather was cool, and perfect for walking. It was amazing to catch up with everyone and talk openly along the route to East London.

We had never met Andy before so to have him join us for a game so far from his home, for a game to which he had no allegiance to, and to see him talking openly was truly amazing. It really hit home to me how this movement can help men in a huge way.

We arrived at The New Den with 30 mins to spare before kick-off. 9 miles and 3 hours of walking and talking with some truly amazing people. A great day.
